I've always liked the Long Sword skin and would like one for my warrior, so I'm wondering where the best place would be to farm for it?

It'd be nice with an inscribable one, so I'm thinking... probably chest-running the areas around the Sunspear Sanctuary?
But I'd be OK with a non-inscribable one too, so if anyone know where they are common drops, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

(And yes, I know about the one Hairyback crafts in Central Transfer Chamber. I crafted one of those, and found to my horror that the blade is gilded. Very ugly, IMO, compared to the standard silver/chrome blade.)

eh...between the two pics posted (one being the one the user dislikes and the other being the afrmable one) I see no difference?

hmm, lemme check to see if i have a spare one that i can give ya for free (req 9, gold, max, inscribable; basicly, perfect). i get them ALL the time. i'll edit this post if i have one or not.

My old Long Sword back in 2005 (and yeah, that really was a pretty kick-ass sword back then!) had a a pure white, silver or chrome blade; the one I just crafted has a yellow tint to the blade, like it was gilded or made of brass.

Please don't tell me all Long Swords now have yellowish/golden blades?

No, actually I'm retarded: it was due to the color of the light. The first screenshot is taken outside Lions Arch, but when I went to Beetletun the sword was white. In other words, the crafted sword is perfectly fine.

I've always wanted one of those little black rinblade/razor skinned 'longswords' but inscribable or with a mod other then 15 while enchanted or 15 in stance...

Farm glints ive gotten a req 9 longsword WITH a +30 mod drop for me, by far one of the best that dropped there, but its a great place to get money
